The Golf-Club Hainburg is regarded as one of the most beautiful courses in Austria. Its harmonious setting in such beautiful natural surroundings you will find everywhere. The layout of the course follows the natural topography of this area. A part of the fairways winds through wood and areas with bushes, thus always offering different scenery. The view down the “Danube-Valley” and over the so-called “Marchfeld” is really fascinating. On fine days you can see as far as Slovakia and the «Hundsheim» mountain range. The climate is influenced by the Pannonian Plain and therefore it is possible to play golf nearly 10 to 12 months a year. The first tee starts at the clubhouse terrace. The 9th hole again leads back to the clubhouse where you can stop for a refreshment before starting the next 9 holes. Other attractions: A wonderful mixture of sport activities, sightseeing tours and cultural visits to many interesting places is offered in the Hainburg region or excursions to the “Neusiedler See” (Lake Neusiedel), the largest steppe-lake in Europe.
