The place where the resort is situated now has a long history. Its name has been America ever since but due to some family reasons of the first owner the name has been changed to “New America”. Then horses were bred there and in 1993 the current owners bought this estate. They have built a unique outpost at their expenses and efforts where, besides others, mainly golf has been successful since 2002. Three years later an academy with eighteen holes was opened. There is also, besides others, a hotel and a restaurant.

The course called the Bohemian Garden has, thanks to its open space, nature of a seaside British links. Both wind, which blows here very often, and length of some holes will test every golfer regardless of his handicap. Four tees are a necessity, so even international competitions can be held here. And this also applies to other two nine-hole circuits. It is quite difficult to describe particular holes, we can just mention some facts. The longest hole from yellow tees is the one with Nr. 9 which is 499, or more precisely 468 metres long from red blocks.

The total length of the course is almost three kilometres – 2,979 metres for men and 2,603 metres for women. The terrain is undulating and the whole course is easy to look over. The composition of the holes looks like letter L. Interesting holes are Nr. 7 and 8 where you play towards an opposite slope over a water hazard situated in a terrain manger.

This circuit as well as other two have its charm and mainly make golfers use strategies given mainly by weather. Nevertheless, in New America you can play eighteen holes in different halves of the course.

The course is used by the New America CC members.
