Services offered by the Konopiště Golf Resort are of high quality. Not only two eighteen-hole courses but also the background offer many opportunities how to spend leisure time. A course with eighteen holes named after marshal Václav Radecký of Radeč, a famous leader from the period of Napoleon wars, who was one of the owners of the manor where the course is situated, was created first.
The Radecký Golf Course is the first finished and opened course near village Tvoršovice near Prague. The area conception resulted from available land but mainly from the effort to create a complete golf area. The course corresponds to this trend not only with its golf quality but also with its maintenance. Some holes are lined by woods on both sides, some only on one side. There are enough sand bunkers and water hazards. Moreover, there are “untypical Czech” wide greens which are difficult for golfers to remember at the beginning. Hole Nr. 6 is interesting, there is a water hazard between the teeing ground and green. Also hole Nr. 12 is difficult, it is almost a right-angled right dogleg. And a big challenge is green of the eighteenth hole which is “impeded” by another water hazard from the hole path. There are also a driving range and training greens for practising and, moreover you can also use an indoor centre where a simulator and training areas are available. The area is a golf paradise which is one of the Czech courses offering complete services not only for golfers but also for their fellows. Moreover, even non-golf events can be held here.
The resort is a domicile of the Konopiště GC.
