The Luby course is near the German border, near town Cheb. The first mention of golf in this part of the country is from 1994. A year later the Luby GC was established. Much time has passed since and, in spite of some unfavourable years, a course with nine holes has been created, but the plan is to create other nine holes, so you might play on eighteen holes in Luby in the future.

Nowadays this hilly course full of character has its own clubhouse connected with a restaurant where you can choose and enjoy typical Czech meals. In the premise which is not very ostentatious outside you can find also pleasant accommodation. Besides a reception and a small shop with golf equipment there is also background for golfers. The outside part offers golfers driving range and putting green. The course itself is a challenge for many golfers. It is a medium-long course but thanks to all its super elevations, not only in the direction of play but also crosswise, it advantages tactics and skills of all golfers who decide to set out for all the holes.

The first tee offers, besides play, a nice view of the country – it is par 3 of over 220 metres. Then there is a hole of more than 400 metres but the most demanding hole is Nr. 4 of 354 metres with par 4. Also hole Nr. 8 is demanding. But which hole is not demanding in Luby? It is a very sporty performance to play all eighteen holes at the same time and if you manage to reach a good result, you will be pleased. It is a classical rural course but very golf-friendly.
