The golf resort in Hodkovičky, which is a part of the fourth Prague district, is being developed since 1996. In 2005 a complete nine-hole course was finally finished and, although it is in a small place, it offers good play. The course is situated on the left bank of river Vltava behind a bridge connecting both banks of the river and it has had excellent driving range for many years and there are also a few training greens where you can practise putting and chipping. A few holes, which were situated around the training meadow, have become a complete course.

The nine-hole course is medium long and, although it was created in the flat, it offers good play thanks to its shape and layout of holes. There are even four tees on each hole and, therefore golfers of different levels can play here. From yellow tees the shortest hole is Nr. 2 with 111 metres, the distance for women is 93 metres to the centre of green. The longest hole for these tees is Nr. 3 which is 486, or more precisely 441 metres long. It is the second most difficult hole, the most difficult one is Nr. 8 which is about 30 metres shorter. The course has a balanced rating, it does not advantage or disadvantage anybody. Interesting hole is Nr. 2 where there is a water hazard on the right from green and water hazards also frighten golfers on holes Nr. 3 and 7.

There is an intention to build new clubhouse in the area, as it was flooded in 2002, which should replace the existing one where you can refresh yourself nowadays. With respect to the fact how many citizens and people interested in golf Prague has, it is a pity that Hodkovičky does not have more space which would enable to create a complete eighteen.

The local course is used by the Prague G&CC golfers.
