This part of the Czech Republic was resisting golf expansion for a long time but nowadays it is possible to play in a temporary nine-hole course situated in a beautiful nook of the Bohdaneč spa. The truth is that a water sprite could easily be a mascot of this course because there are so many water hazards and other water areas as nowhere else in the Czech Republic. Together with surrounding reed groves near pools it is a wonderful place for both physical and mental relaxation.

The course is flat as a palm, without any visible super elevations and is 5,854 metres long from yellow and 5,020 metres long from red women?s tees. Nevertheless, there are four tees where all golfers can play. For golfers with low handicap it is a bit unpleasant, on the other hand the course advantages golfers with higher handicap. The course has a classical layout of holes and par 72. The holes are surrounded by a road curve with a tree avenue on one side and the second side is lined with high-grown trees. At the very beginning there is the longest hole ? a dogleg in the fist part of the path and a water hazard in the middle in the second part, then you just have to strike green. On the second hole the most important thing is to get ball to the fairway. Nr. 3 is only a teeing ground and green, there is nowhere else to play. On hole Nr. 4 you can have a rest, the fifth hole is a bit shorter than the first one but the most difficult. A narrower fairway gently broken to the left and green surrounded by water on two sides. Nr. 6 can be played in front of as well as behind water and then to green. Nr. 7 is a challenge for the brave hearted if the ball gets to green or somewhere else. The eight hole has an impeding water eye in front of green and Nr. 9 has it in the middle of the path.

It is a really magnificent course like no other in the Czech Republic. All golfers should play here to find out their level. It is plentifully used by the Pardubice GC golfers.
